SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of at least two plies of powder coating on substrate. Two different powder plies are consecutively applied on substrate. Note here that first powder ply is not solidified before application of second powder ply. Note also that both plies are solidified at a time. Note that first powder coating ply is applied on the substrate with the help of corona discharge charging system while second powder coating ply is applied on said substrate with application of triboelectric charging system. Note that first powder coating ply is applied on the substrate with the application of triboelectric charging system while second powder coating ply is applied on said substrate with the help of corona discharge charging system. Note here that first ply of powder coating and second play of powder coating feature opposite polarity of electrostatic charge, Note also that first ply of powder coating contains polyether film-forming resin.
EFFECT: ruled out surface defects at top powder ply, better mixing of two plies, improved appearance.
