FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: multi-channel constant-voltage transformer (MCVT) comprises master clock generator with paraphrase output, pull-push key amplifier (PPKA), in-series resonant circuit of a capacitor and choke, MCVT with n secondary windings, n rectifiers, n capacitive filters and n key current normalisers (KCN) with individual adjustment of output current stabilising threshold. Each KCN is based on in-series single-step key amplifier, pulse-width modulator, reference voltage source, inductive filter and current sensor. Resonant frequency is selected as equal to frequency of PPKA switching, parameters of resonant elements are selected for the rated output power of MCVT, and reference voltage source and current sensor are set to output current stabilising level equal to 1.2 of the rated channel current.
EFFECT: improved energy efficiency, stability of load characteristics for secondary voltage channels with individual protection for each channel from overloading and expanded scope of application.
