KEY STABILIZED CONVERTER Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC H02M3/335

Abstract RU 2810649 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: key stabilized converter with soft switching trajectories is proposed under the conditions of providing a voltage stabilization mode and limiting the input current with galvanic isolation from the power buses, containing channels of key power amplifiers (1) and (2), made on half-bridge circuits, a phase-pulse converter (3), matching devices (4) and (5), including output transformers, capacitive dividers (9) and (10) for each key amplification channel, high-frequency (HF) current sensors (11) and (12), rectifier (6), low frequencies filter (7), voltage sensor (8), voltage feedback threshold circuit (13) with galvanically isolated output, diode adder (14) output signals of current sensors (11) and (12), threshold amplifier (15), weight adder (16). The open-circuit inductance of the primary windings of the output transformers is used as a correction inductance to form soft switching trajectories. Weight adder (16) ensures generation of the resulting control signal of phase-pulse converter (3) taking into account the voltage feedback signal in the voltage stabilization mode, or the HF current amplitude envelope signal in the current limiting mode. When using matching devices as corrective inductance of no-load transformers, the energy and overall characteristics are improved while providing galvanic isolation and implementing output current stabilization modes. At the same time, an increase in reliability is achieved under the conditions of eliminating magnetizing currents and eliminating emergency overload modes.

EFFECT: elimination of bias currents while eliminating additional corrective inductances and providing voltage stabilization and current limiting modes with galvanic isolation of feedback circuits while reducing the dimensions of the key stabilized converter.
