FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: outer unit for an air conditioning device, comprising a shell of the housing, having an upper and side panels, and a lower portion. The shell of the housing of the outer unit has inside a machine room and an air-transfer device compartment, and the upper panel is provided with a handle, has a rectangular shape and covers the upper opening of the housing shell of the outer unit. The outer unit comprises: a long-side handle which is provided on the long-side part of the upper panel, a short-side handle which is provided on the short-side part of the upper panel or on the side panel. The long-side handle is disposed so that it protrudes beyond long-side part of the upper panel, and a top view the long-side handle does not protrude outwardly beyond the distal end of the leg provided at the lower part of the housing shell of the outer unit.

EFFECT: such position of the handle does not increase the size of the outer unit and the size of its package and does not block the air flowing into the heat exchanger.
