SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an indoor unit of an air conditioning unit, and more specifically to a front panel structure. Internal air conditioning unit that includes: front panel located on the front side of the housing of the indoor unit and having a flat front surface; and decorative cover mounted on the front side of the front panel, wherein the front panel includes: recess, formed in the center of the front panel and continuing from the inner side of the left end portion to the inner side of the right end portion of the front plate; air inlet formed under the recess; left-sided side of the recess located on the left side of the recess; and the right-sided side of the recess, located on the right side of the recess, the decorative cover including: upper decorative cover adapted to close a region extending from the upper end portion of the recess to the upper end portion of the front panel and extending from the left end portion to the right end portion of the front panel in front view; and lower decorative cover, made with the possibility of closing the area, continuing from the lower end portion of the recess to the lower end portion of the front panel and extending from the left end portion to the right end portion of the front panel in the front view, the left-sided side of the recess is flat and flush with the flat surfaces above and below the left-sided side of the recess, and the right-sided side of the recess is flat and flush with the flat surfaces above and below the right-sided side of the recess.

EFFECT: this provides an indoor air conditioning unit that is able to prevent deformation and breakage and to improve the design ability.
