FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photopolymer composition including matrix polymers, recording monomers and photo initiators and to its application for making of holographic media. Invention describes a photopolymer composition for production of holographic media. This composition includes matrix polymers, recording monomers and photo initiators. Note here that matrix polymers are composed of polyurethanes resulted from interaction of isocyanate component a) with component b) reacting with isocyanates, its molecule containing at least 1.5 groups reacting with isocyanates. Note here that recording monomers contain aromatic compounds of formula (I) wherein at least one of residues R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 is the formula residue (II) bonded via X with aromatic ring. Note also that A in formula (II) is linear or branched, if necessary, by hydrocarbon network containing oxygen. Other residues R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, interpedently, are hydrogen atom or organic residue while R7 is hydrogen atom or methyl. Invention discloses application of said photopolymer composition for creation of holographic media, particularly, axial holograms, off-axis holograms, focused image holograms, holograms recovered in white light, off-axis reflecting holograms, edge illuminating holograms and holographic stereogram.

EFFECT: photopolymer composition with increased concentration of recording monomers to rule out negative effects and to create bright holograms.
