FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device for subsurface irrigation, in which the humidifier is used as a tube combined with a dropper which is attached to a perforated flexible humidifier covered with foam rubber. The flexible humidifier is laid on the depth of 5÷20 cm in the soil and winds in the plane the spiral root system of the plant. The upper part of the tube is attached to the dropper with a float gate, attached to the main water supply. The dropper can be deepened into the tube and to change the value of the automatically maintained hydrostatic head. Between the dropper and the tube there are air openings. Humidification of plant root system is carried out through the water-discharge openings made in the flexible humidifier. The lower part of the tube below the nozzle is a settler and simultaneously enhances the stability and vertical orientation of the tube.

EFFECT: improvement of irrigation efficiency, reduction of water consumption.
