FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, to a lead-acid accumulator or a galvanic element, which comprises an electrode (electrodes) with a current collector (collectors) from fibrous material with average fibre-to-fibre distance of at least 50 microns, at the same time conducting circuits of Pb-based particles are attached to the specified fibres, for which purpose the material of the current collector from carbon-fibre cloth moistened with aqueous solution of lead salt is exposed to thermal treatment with the help of an electric arc discharge.
EFFECT: increased capacitance of an accumulator due to increased total surface area of active material, as well as reduced fall of active material are technical result of the invention.
