FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: contact device for heat and mass exchange and separation of phases in the partitioned packed cross flow columns in the systems gas-liquid and liquid-liquid comprises a set of identical contact elements assembled one above another in one or several rows in packages which are fastened by spokes and vertical stands with formation in the column section of walls which on horizontal end faces are bound by the horizontal segment partitions interfaced along arch with the column housing, while between walls the liquid distributors are located which have the punched part, the additional partition, reflector plates and vertical retaining plates. The space between the additional plate and underlying and overlying walls is sealed by battens.
EFFECT: invention provides intensification of heat and mass exchange and simplification of mounting of the contact device.
