FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processor. It comprises input controller connected to integral image computation unit connected with output controller. Input controller receives the raster image as the flow of pixels from the image source for preliminary image processing and its transmission to integral image computation unit. The latter computes the integral image current pixel brightness and the integral image current pixel brightness of squared pixels of initial raster image as the data on brightness come from input processor of the initial raster image pixels located nearby current pixel of initial raster image. Besides, it transmits the computed magnitudes of said current pixel brightness and integral image of squared brightness to the memory controller. The latter writes the computed magnitudes of said current pixel brightness and integral image of squared brightness into the memory. This allows the formation of integral image and integral image of squared brightness in the memory.

EFFECT: efficient image processing without initial image writing in the memory.
