FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: noise suppressor contains cylindrical casing, rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet nozzles, rigidly connected with central pipe. Central pipe is made perforated in form of rectangular slits, at least three. Outlet nozzle is made in form of disk having in the perforated part at least three holes. The central pipe is connected with central solid part of the disk, between the casing and central pipe the sound-absorbing element is installed such that disk holes are connected with cavity for the sound-absorbing element location. Sound absorbing element comprises a smooth surface and a perforated surface between which a multilayer sound absorbing structure is placed and consists of three layers of sound-absorbing material. The first layer is more rigid, solid and profiled and is fixed on the smooth surface. The second layer is softer, is intermittent and placed in the focus of the sound reflecting surfaces of the first layer. The third layer is made from foamed sound absorbing material, and is placed between the more rigid first layer and the perforated surface of the sound absorbing element.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing noise absorption efficiency.
