FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: noise suppressor contains cylindrical casing, rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet nozzles, with central partition. From inside the casing is lined with sound absorbing material. The partition is made in form of the perforated pipe, rigidly connected with the inlet nozzle and ring of L-shale profile, making with the internal surface of the casing the ring clearance with circle slit. The clearance is filled with sound absorbing material. Element comprises a smooth surface and a perforated surface between which a multilayer sound absorbing structure is placed and consists of three layers of sound-absorbing material. The first layer is more rigid, solid and profiled and is fixed on the smooth surface. The second layer is softer, is intermittent and placed in the focus of the sound reflecting surfaces of the first layer. The third layer is made from foamed sound absorbing material, and is placed between the first layer and the perforated surface of the sound absorbing element.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppression.
