FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: tray is made of a plastic sheet in the form of a reservoir 1 having a bottom 2 and a lateral wall 3 that is limited at the top by the tray contour 4 relative to the tray normal position. The tray contour 4 has a reinforcing rib 5 made of a U-beam having a wall 6 and two shelves. The first shelf 7 of the U-bar represents a straight line continuing the straight line of the tray 3 lateral wall generatrix. The second wall 8 of the U-bar is positioned outside the tray contour 4 and represents a curved line that is convex in the radial direction away from the tray axis. The U-bar wall 6 is designed so that the thickness of the profile sheet within such wall area exceeds the plastic sheet thickness in any other area of the tray 1 and of the reinforcement rib 5.
EFFECT: enhanced degree of the tart protection when the tray with the tart on it is raised by the tray edges.
