SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic survey. A computer-readable medium containing instructions which, when executed by a computer, carries out a method for seismic survey of an underground volume, which comprises: collecting seismic data from seismic detectors; performing frequency-domain inversion of the seismic data, which includes applying a fast Fourier transform algorithm to acoustic impedance values using the amplitude spectrum of the seismic data and the phase spectrum of the seismic data; and wherein inversion of the seismic data includes solving an equation for directly obtaining a given seismic trace without successive approximations to improve the given seismic trace; simulating the underground volume based on the inversion of the seismic data.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining acoustic impedance for seismic data.
