FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for volume measurement during calibration of a fuel pump (FP). The measuring tank comprises a reservoir with a cylindrical shell, with which three locating screws are connected, with a lower cone, on the lower part of which there is a nozzle with a valve to drain petrol or diesel fuel, with an upper truncated cone, which with the cylindrical shell creates a reservoir to collect spilled working fluid, on which a nozzle is installed with a valve for working fluid drainage, on the upper truncated cone there is a neck with a defoamer and a guide nozzle to fill petrol or diesel fuel, a level, a metal tube with a heat insulation coating and a rubber gasket on the bottom, where an areometer is installed, equipped with a thermometer, at the same time the neck and the metal tube are connected to each other with a nozzle with a valve to fill the tube with petrol or diesel fuel, and also a metal tube with an opening, inside of which there is a glass tube opposite to the opening, and a metal calibrated plate is fixed with a scale at the left side for petrol for the rated capacity of the measuring tank at temperature +20°C and a scale at the right side for diesel fuel.
EFFECT: simplified design of a measuring tank and increased accuracy of measurements during calibration of a fuel pump.
