FIELD: physics, measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of measuring volume of liquids and can be used to check fuel-dispensing units. The liquid metering vessel comprises a reservoir made of anticorrosion steel having a flange, a foam breaker made of anticorrosion steel having a flange, a transparent tube made of high-strength organic glass which is fitted between the flanges through rubber spacers, a metal spout having flanges and four longitudinal grooves, installed concentrically relative to the transparent tube and made in form of a round tube or square profile, there are eight scales on the front side of the spout: for petrol, diesel fuel, spirit, aviation petrol, kerosene, stove fuel, acetone and white spirit, on the outer surface of the reservoir there are three legs with adjustable jacks, a drain pipe with a split sleeve, a tap and T-branch, one end of which through a tube is connected to a container for measuring temperature and density of the working liquid, and the other is connected to drain tap with a nozzle, carrying handles, a container with a discharge nozzle for draining the working liquid, a level gauge and a container, mounted on the spout by a bar, a thermometric hydrometer for measuring temperature and density of the working liquid.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the design of the metering vessel and broadens functional and technical capabilities.
