METAL METER OF SECOND CATEGORY Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: verification of filling station and other proportioners of oil products taking into account change in volume of light oil products depending on temperature; measurements of metered amount of working fluid at temperature of measurement and at correction to 20 C. SUBSTANCE: proposed meter includes counting unit consisting of transparent neck with scale plate provided with longitudinal inspection slot. Scale plate has scales for two working fluids. For accurate reading of error, device is provided with flat movable error scale in form of frame with water inspection port. All metal parts of meter are made from three layers: middle layer is made from steel; this layer is provided with external and internal layers of corrosion-resistant powder sparkproof polymer coats. Meter is provided with foam suppressor which consists of branch pipe with intake hole, upper cone, shell, lower cone with connecting flange, two carrying handles and entrainment separator forming clearance together with shell which is equal to half diameter of nominal bore of branch pipe with intake hole; it is also provided with working reservoir fitted with reference level and three adjusting screws for vertical adjustment of meter. EFFECT: ease in maintenance; enhanced accuracy of reading off error when meter is used for various working fluids. 2 cl, 2 dwg
