SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for calculation of filtration coefficients (H [k, m]) for adaptive filters. The adaptive filter is used for microphone signal filtration to suppress an echo signal induced by a loudspeaker signal. The device includes the following: The device contains: echo signal attenuation simulator for simulation of the nature of change of attenuation of the acoustic medium and for representing the respective echo signal attenuation parameter (t; αm); and the calculator for calculation of the adaptive filter filtration coefficients (H [k, m]) on the basis of the echo signal attenuation parameter (t; αm). the respective method includes the following: representing of the echo signal attenuation parameters (t; Ĝ[k,m]; αm), determined by means of echo signal attenuation simulation; and calculation of the adaptive filter filtration coefficients (H[k, m]) on the basis of the echo signal attenuation parameters (t; αm).
EFFECT: improvement of quality of sound of echo suppression system or echo compensation system.
