FIELD: physics; geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to process seismic data. Disclosed method of identifying a digital signal event using a characteristic, which indicates that digital signal events basically depends on signal phase. The present solution includes performing Hilbert transform on random noise signal seismograms; deriving a cosine phase function seismogram of the random noise signal seismogram; deriving an identification threshold function for events from the cosine phase function seismogram, which includes a horizontal position of the cosine phase function seismogram, wherein a variable parameter of the identification threshold function is the total number of the signal traces. The invention also provides a system for carrying out said method of identifying events and a computer-readable data medium.
EFFECT: high accuracy of obtained data.
