FIELD: seismic prospecting for mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: given process includes following operations: generation of 3D seismic data, division of data by array of relatively small 3D cells, determination of similarity per each cell, determination of inclination and inclination azimuth of seismic routes included in it and display of image of inclination, inclination azimuth and similarity of each cell in the form of 2D map. In agreement with one variant similarity is function of time, number of seismic routes inside cell and visible inclination of visible inclination azimuth of routes inside cell. Similarity of cells is determined by way of conducting aggregate of measurements of similarity of routes inside cell and by selection of largest measurement. Visible inclination and visible inclination azimuth corresponding to largest of measured similarity in cell are considered evaluation of true inclination and true inclination azimuth inside cell. Color map characterized by hue, saturation and brightness is utilized to describe similarity, true inclination and true inclination azimuth of each cell. True inclination azimuth is laid off on axis of color hue, true inclination is plotted on saturation axis and largest measured similarity is laid off on brightness axis of color map. EFFECT: improved reliability of process and gear. 11 cl, 16 dwg
