SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. The lighting device comprising at least one light source (11), reflective component (20) comprising reflective surface (22), edge (21) ("the first edge") cutting off light beams passing in the area adjoining this first edge (21), and light-modifying component (30) designed to modify light characteristic of light beams and having edge (31) ("the second edge"). The light-modifying component (30) passes from reflective component (20) to this second edge (31) over the area of surface intended to receive a part of light beams passing in the above area. The second edge is made so that for a part of light beams the light-modifying component (30) modifies proportionally more light beams passing closer to the first edge (21) than light beams passing farther from the first edge (21).
EFFECT: optimised lighting efficiency.
