SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting equipment. A lighting device comprises multiple blocks of a source of light including at least a light diode (LD) 16 and light-guide plates 18. The blocks of the light source are arranged in one direction so that between neighbouring light-guide plates (LP) 18 there are gaps S. Each light-guide plate 18 has the first surface 36A of light output, which receives light from the LD 16 and releases light L1. A diffuser 15b, which receives light L1 from the first surface 36A of light release is arranged so that it faces the first surface 36A of light release. Reflecting sheets 24 are arranged on the opposite side from the diffuser 15b so that they cover gaps S between LP 18. Each LP 18 has the second surface 36B of light release in the border part, which faces the gap S between LP 18, on the opposite side from the diffuser 15b. The second surface 36B of light release is formed based on the condition of light L2 release from it, reflection of light L2 from the reflecting sheet 24 and its distribution to the diffuser 15b via S.

EFFECT: achievement of even brightness.
