FIELD: atomic physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates nuclear engineering, particularly to processing radioactive wastes, and devices for emptying radioactive residues from storage tanks. The device comprises a head connected to a drive with back-and-forth movement, a bearing assembly mounted on a flange, and a clamp mounted on the head. The head is connected to a bar which is pivotally connected to two cantilevers placed one below the other and connected by ropes to handles which are inserted in grooves in the bar. The cantilevers are in the form of plates, and the handles are situated at a height greater than the height of the protective cover of the container. The angle between the plates is 90-120°. In other versions, as the drive with back-and-forth movement a lifting device is used, and as the rotary drive a manual drive is used.
EFFECT: reducing consumption of the working fluid per unit of the removed residue owing to discharge thereof and mixing in the region of the pump suction branch.
