FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the steps that follow. Packing material sheet is picked up from unprocessed material store composed by packing material sheets of preset size and arranged as a pile. Picked up sheet is fed to cutting station to get multiple parts of common size and other sizes differing from each other in compliance with preset ratios. Parts is transferred in response to appropriate instruction into multiple accumulators arranged one above the other each being meant for placing of equal-size parts in the pile. Separate parts are selected for making of the box bottom and its first opposite walls in response to instruction from one of stores selected to comply with one of box sizes. Separate parts are selected for making of the box bottom and its second opposite walls in response to instruction from one of stores selected to comply with one of box sizes. One or more equal-size parts are interconnected to make at least one part longer than that equal-size parts kept in appropriate store. Note here that said longer part is produced to make the lower part that includes the bottom and two first opposite sidewalls of the box. Lower part is cut to preset sizes as well as the other side equal-size parts meant for making of the other two opposite sidewalls. Lower and side parts are transferred to working station located nearby said multiple stores. Side parts or lower part are subjected to sketching or creasing to make lines of weakening or creasing at preset position of every part for further flexure parallel with direction of transfer to working station. Note here that the latter is motorized to transfer, in response to appropriate instruction, said lower and side parts in direction perpendicular to that of parts transfer from stores to working station. Side parts or lower part are subjected once more to sketching or creasing to make lines of weakening or creasing at preset position of every part for further flexure perpendicular with direction of transfer from stores to working station. Angular parts cut off from lower and/or side parts cut earlier to preset size are removed. Said lower and/or side parts cut earlier to preset size are assembled to make a blank. Said flat blank is prepared for flexing and gluing to make the box.
EFFECT: reduced amount of wastes, saving of packing space.
