FIELD: packaging machine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a packaging machine used to convert a generally rigid material into packaging templates for assembling boxes and other packaging. The package template machine includes a feed system that feeds a plurality of feed webs of sheet material into the machine without changing the position of the feed system or creating fold lines or folds in the sheet material. The machine also includes separating and slitting systems with one or more cutting tables and preloaded knives which allow the sheet material to be formed into templates by slitting. The machine also includes a scoring roll(s) which form(s) fold lines in the sheet material. The machine also includes a system to reduce or eliminate the effect of irregularities in the sheet material.
EFFECT: package template machine improvement.
