FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes power measurement of engine being the drilling rig rotor drive, measurement of speed of rotation of drive shaft. At that results of power measurements of drive engine and speed of rotation of drive are differentiated, and axial load on the rock destruction tool is regulated according to change rate of drive engine power, its value is determined by differentiating of the power measurements result, at that speed of rotation of the drive shaft is regulated depending on change rate of speed of rotation of the drive shaft, which value is determined by differentiating of the measurement result of the speed of rotation.
EFFECT: simplified structure of control system, increased control accuracy, optimisation of measurement systems, reduced vibrations of drilling string, and hence increased speed of well drilling.
