FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes power measurement of engine being the drilling rig rotor drive, measurement of change rate of speed of rotation of drive shaft. At that to the channel of power measurement of the drilling rig rotor drive, and to channel measurement of rotation frequency of the drive shaft the differentiating and division of the measurements results of change rate of power of the drilling rig rotor drive by the result of measurement of change rate of rotation frequency of the drive shaft determining gradient of torque change on shaft of the drilling rig rotor drive, at that the rotation frequency of the drive shaft is regulated according to sign of the gradient of torque change on the drive shaft of the drilling rig rotor.
EFFECT: simplified structure of control system, increased control accuracy, optimisation of measurement systems, reduced vibrations of drilling string, and hence increased speed of well drilling.
