SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to windmill rotor, windmill and to conversion of wind energy to electric power. Wind-powered rotor (10) comprises first and second rotor devices (12) and (14). First rotor device runs about first shaft (16) and comprises at least two rotor blades (18). The latter run in circle (20) about first shaft (24). Rotor blades are arranged to run about first shaft so that first virtual side surface (22) of first virtual solid of revolution is described. Second rotor device runs about second shaft (26) and comprises second solid of revolution (28) with closed side surface (30). Second solid of revolution is located at least partially inside said first virtual solid of revolution. First rotor device can be drive by wind in first direction of revolution (32) to convert wind force into driving force. Second rotor device is equipped with drive (34) and can be driven in second direction of revolution (36) opposite the first one.
EFFECT: efficient wind energy application.
