SUBSTANCE: convertible construction of academic graduation hat contains rectangular head of the base material and rigid lining, a coloured string ending with a tassel attached to the centre of the head with the stitching method. The band made of a base material and soft lining is connected to the head of the academic headdress using the hinge loops and buttons, and the ends of the band are closed to the ring with the Velcro tape stitched along the band ends at a distance of 0.5 mm from the edge.
EFFECT: design improvement.
