FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to improved output of ethylene and propylene out of light naphtha feed stock; it includes production of light naphtha feed stock in the primary cracking zone containing cracking catalyst. Light naphtha feed stock interacts with catalyst for olefin production in the olefin production zone with production of stream enriched with ethylene and propylene. Upon reaction of the catalyst for olefin production the stream enriched with ethylene and propylene is separated from the catalyst for olefin production in separator zone. At least part of the catalyst for olefin production is regenerated by burning carbon deposited at the catalyst surface in oxygen-containing medium, and at least part of the catalyst for olefin production is heated by heat exchange with flow of hot gaseous combustion product, at that at least part of the flow of hot gaseous combustion product is represented by flue gas out of the catalyst regenerator intended for catalyst regeneration. The catalyst for olefin production is returned to olefin production zone. Invention is also referred to the device intended for processing of light naphtha from the catalytic cracking zone intended for production of ethylene and propylene.
EFFECT: improved output of ethylene and propylene by energy-efficient method.
