FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed mirror comprises optical fibre, birefringent element, lens, magnet, faraday rotator and mirror. Light beam downstream of optical finer is divided by birefringent element into two linearly and perpendicular polarized light beams to be converged by the lens and to pass through faraday rotator. This makes their polarization planes turn through 45 degrees and to be reflected at one point on mirror surface. Then, they again pass through faraday rotator to make their polarization plane turn, additionally, through 45 degrees to fall on birefringent element. Now, they are combined to one light beam to fall on optical fibre. Shift of unusual beam in said birefringent element equals or exceeds the double diameter of optical fibre mode field.
EFFECT: simplified assembly and adjustment, better resistance to vibration.
