FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of carbon-siliconcarbide composite materials (CSCM), intended for work under conditions of high temperature load and oxidative medium, and can be applied in creation of rocket-space equipment, where sealing under overpressure is required from products. Carbon-siliconcarbide composite material contains reinforcing carbon fibres and carbon-siliconcarbide matrix, open pores of which are filled with free silicon; with material components having close LTEC values. In it free silicon is distributed throughout the entire volume of material, and size of separate fragments near external surface of material does not exceed 30 mcm. Free silicon contains dissolved in it carbon and nitrogen in its structure. In pores of blank based on carbon tissue and pyrocarbon, carbon in form of ultra- and/or nanodispersive particles, capable of adsorbing nitrogen and carbon-containing gases, is formed, and it siliconising by steam-liquid-phase method is carried out. Mass-transfer of silicon into pores of material is realised by capillary condensation of its steams at stage of heating and/or isothermal exposure in the range of temperatures 1300-1500°C.

EFFECT: provision of possibility to apply hermetic products from carbon-siliconcarbide composite materials at temperatures higher temperature of silicon melting, including in vacuum.
