FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: stationary device is designed for measurement under conditions of operation of tread wear (rolling) and flange wear (cutting) of locomotive wheelsets. In the proposed stationary device rail inserts are displaced relative to each other at the distance of 4-5 meters, their profiles are made in accordance with the standard profile of treads. Additionally inserts are equipped with counterrails, providing, in process of measurement of rolling and cutting of tread flanges, displacement of a wheelset into identical controlled positions. Besides, rail inserts are additionally in vertical and horizontal planes equipped by return-movable pushers, which are in contact manner coupled with inductance sensors of linear movements, and pushers are placed at the distance of 70 mm from inner faces of treads and 20 mm from tops of flanges.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements, provides for independence of measurement accuracy from weather conditions.
