FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: multilayer armour barrier for the armour vest comprises the armour plate of high-strength structural steel, at the rear side of which there is a layer of tissue armour package - TSVM, on the front side of the armour panel there is a sublayer of nickel-aluminium alloy and the ceramic armour layer from aluminium oxide or silicon carbide, or boron carbide. The ceramic armour layer consists of individual elements arranged in the cells formed on the surface of the armour panel. The height of the cell walls is equal to the thickness of the ceramic layer. On the ceramic layer there is a layer of outer cladding of the high-strength alloy, a sublayer of nickel-aluminium alloy, an armour plate of high-strength structural steel.
EFFECT: increase in retention time of rigidity of armour ceramic layer, exceeding the contact pressure of the core in the interaction of the core with the ceramic layer, and consequently, more intense activation of the core and decrease in the buckling of the rear layer of the metal substrate.
