FIELD: armour.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wheeled equipment protection against impact of damaging elements of enemy fire facilities. Additional unit for protection of wheeled equipment from damaging elements comprises several layers connected in series, fixed with gaps of not more than 1 mm and forming a unit. Layer for killing kinetic energy of the damaging element is made of flexible aluminium GOST 4784-2019. Layer of flexibility and damping of impact energy is made on the basis of fabric armoured materials of “Kevlar” type. Layer of crushing-deflecting action of damaging element energy is made of Al2O3 alloy with addition of ceramic based on composite material of nitride-silicon with thickness of 5 mm. Layer of fabric armoured materials is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. Intermediate layer is made of ceramic based on aluminium oxide Al2O3 with thickness of 5 mm. Layer of fabric armoured materials is made on the basis of fabric armoured materials of “Kevlar” type. Retaining layer is made of ceramic based on aluminium oxide Al2O3 with thickness of 5 mm. Layer providing conditional penetration is made of binary compound of aluminium and oxygen Al2O3, with thickness of 15-20 mm. All layers are interconnected by means of Gersilast137-481 GOST R57400-2017 organosilicon sealant.
EFFECT: higher protection of wheeled vehicles.
