FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: induction motor of ordinary version comprises rotor with the shaft composed of a bulky thin-wall cylinder. Ends of the latter are tightly closed by end flanges secured on the shaft to make therewith and with said shaft a sealed chamber of the rotor. Said chamber is communicated via bores in the walls of shaft hollow ends with suction and delivery sides of electric pump. Impeller is secured on rotor shaft. Said impeller runs with the rotor and its shaft to transfer fluid inside rotor cavity from the suction side to delivery side, hence makes the sealed electric pump working link. In the case of reversible induction motor claimed pump is also a reversible design and can operate in both directions.
EFFECT: combined motor and pump design of high operating performances.
