FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: process of making the grooves in borehole casing exploits the groove making system. It uses at least one cutting tool composed of at least one assembly of shaped-charge perforating and assembly of discrete positioning. Cutting tool is displaced into borehole via conveyor. Cutting tool displacement along borehole axis is stopped. Grooves are produced in casing by actuating the assembly of discrete positioning so that shaped-charge perforating assembly makes the grooves at preset configuration in said casing. In compliance with one version, claimed process comprises the displacement material into grooves made in casing to compact the borehole.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, flexibility and reliability.
