FIELD: petroleum and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to downhole equipment for petroleum and gas boreholes. The downhole centraliser comprises a downhole tool made configured to be connected with the toolstring and moved in the downhole channel constituting a wellbore or a tubular element located in the wellbore. The downhole tool comprises multiple levers configured to move relative to the side wall of the downhole channel in order to center at least a section of the toolstring in the downhole channel, apply a predetermined force to the side wall of the downhole channel, and maintain the predetermined force when the toolstring is moved along the downhole channel. The downhole tool comprises a first support element and a second support element, and each lever comprises a first lever element hinged to the first support element through a first hinge, and a second lever element hinged to the second support element through a second hinge. The first and second lever elements are therein hinged through a third hinge. For each lever therein, the first and second hinges are located on a first side of the plane passing through the central axis of the downhole tool, and the third hinge is located on a second opposite side of said plane.

EFFECT: ensured sufficient shock absorbing of levers for the purpose of eliminating bending thereof or damage to the downhole centraliser.
