FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to expendable seals for use in the coal industry, mineral processing and can be used in hydrocyclones and pumps for suspensions. The energy dissipating sealing ring (872) includes the spent bearing mould (872A) containing polymer, elastomer or their combination, and also some quantity of packed inserts (872B) weighed in a mould (872). The mould (872) is used for placing of inserts (872B) into one or several embedded parts (833, 841). The inserts (872B) contain solid material and form the wearproof bodies minimising and disseminating kinetic energy of escaping suspension due to formation of almost impassable trajectories. The bearing mould (872A) collapses over time, and between inserts (872B) a group of voids is formed (872C). The escaping suspension (852) is slowed down during passing of three-dimensional snake-like trajectories created by these voids (872C) that minimises its possibilities to wear the surrounding components. Also the methods of fabrication of the energy dissipating sealing ring (872) and suspension energy dispersion (850) are described.

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at improvement of wearproof sealing of joints of elements of hydrocyclones and pumps for suspensions.
