FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for ultrasonic inspection of articles comprises a base with a support mounted thereon, on which a carriage with an inspection sensor is mounted. The carriage is mounted on the support to allow axial movement through a drive and fixation in a given position; a table is mounted on the base to allow rotation through a drive, the table being intended to hold the inspected article; a fork is attached to a lever to allow rotation on the carriage; a frame is mounted on the fork to allow rotation on axes, where a board is placed on the axes to allow rotation; a plate is placed on the board to allow axial movement, said plate being spring-loaded relative to said board and bearing a frame which is spring-loaded relative to the plate, said frame being intended to mount a sensor, wherein the surface of the frame facing the article is fitted with supports for contact with the inspected article.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the device by providing quality ultrasonic inspection of longitudinal and transverse welded and soldered joints.
