SUBSTANCE: prior to the therapy and on the 14th day thereof, mononuclear culture supernatants are analysed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to measure spontaneous and phytohemagglutinin-induced cytokine IL-6 production by blood munonuclears. If the spontaneous IL-6 production increases to 5158.3±218.4 pg/ml, whereas the induced IL-6 production decreases to 3056.3±223.5 pg/ml, a probability of infiltrative into suppurative transformation of trichophytia.
EFFECT: method increases the diagnostic accuracy and enables the targeted prevention of the unfavourable course of the disease.
