FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: trolley-type bird guard device for terminal clamps of power transmission line is made as a cover. The cover consists of two U-shaped parts. The cover parts are mated with depressions to each other thus forming a cavity for the terminal clamp. The parts are mated along one lateral sides of the cover using feathering hinges. At least at the other lateral side the cover parts are mated by snap-connecting elements. At two opposite lateral sides there are openings made in the cover. One opening serves as access to the terminal clamp of the strained line section. The second opening serves for passage of the insulator element coupled to the terminal clamp. In the lateral side neighbouring the lateral side with opening there is the third opening. The third opening serves for passage of wire coming from the terminal clamp. Each opening is shaped by opposed dents in the mated U-shaped parts.
EFFECT: widening range of facilities protecting birds from electric shock, simple design, assembly, disassembly, reliable fixation at strained elements of different structure.
