SUBSTANCE: bird protection device is an oblong casing made of a dielectric, made to accommodate a part of the wire attached to the insulator and/or at least part of the element of the wire attachment to the insulator. In the sidewall of the casing middle part, there is a hole or cutout for placing the insulator end terminal and/or at least part of the element of the wire attachment to the insulator.
EFFECT: invention provides protection against short-circuit of the upper and lower end terminals of the suspended insulator.
