FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: unit of connection binds rod elements of a geodetic dome and includes a central insert in the form of a hollow cylinder for the first version and in the form of a semi-cylinder - for the second one, and also connectors connected to the ends of the rod elements. Each connector is made in the form of two U-shaped brackets engaged to each other with placement of a crosspiece of one bracket in the space between the shelves of the other one. One U-shaped bracket covers the central insert from outside with imposition of shelves onto end faces of the cylinder and is fixed relative to it with a tightening element. The second U-shaped bracket covers the end of the rod element and is fixed to it.
EFFECT: installation of rods without warps.
