FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical machines and synchronous inductor generators used, for example, in off-track equipment. The inductor generator comprises an axial excitation source, an operating coil, a stator and a rotor with a shaft. The rotor is in the form of a cup surrounding the excitation source with the coil. A bearing is placed at the bottom of the cup. A shaft is mounted at the centre of the bottom of the cup on the outside.
EFFECT: high technological effectiveness of the design owing to unification of the rotor and stator cups and eliminating the ballast gap.
