SUBSTANCE: onboard radiofrequency circuit is installed on a satellite. Data are transmitted on several channels by radiofrequency signals, wherein one channel corresponds to one frequency band, and a channel may be associated with a gain circuit (400, 401) for generating the radiofrequency signal to be transmitted on said channel, said circuit comprising at least one variable-gain amplifier, the radiofrequency signals being multiplexed by a multiplexer, having gain circuit filters, having a power load configured to dissipate the power of signals which is reflected by the filters, said load having means for generating an alarm signal A(t) representative of the power level of the reflected signals, said alarm signal being used to control the gain of the variable-gain amplifier.
