FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in short-range radar systems (SRRS), including those with an active phased antenna array (APAA), sensors and meters, designed to detect moving objects, determine motion parameters and measure distance to them. In the autodyne photodetector transceiver for the SRRS, an autodyne signal extraction unit is also connected to the photodetector module. Photodetector module is made on the basis of a photodiode with a nonlinear output characteristic, mounted in a distributed coplanar line system, at the output of which an autodyne signal is recorded.

EFFECT: considerable reduction of the number of communication channels between the hardware and the antenna parts of the transceiver, reduction of its cost, power consumption and structural complexity while maintaining functional capabilities.
