SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics. Radio-photon system for location determination of cuts movement parameters on a marshalling yard, consisting of a multichannel signal processing unit, a microwave radio-photon source, an optical radiation divider into N channels, as well as a plurality of N radio-photon locators installed on braking positions, additionally in the microwave radio-photon source comprises a semiconductor laser module connected to the input of the electro-optical modulator, to the control input of which the microwave generator is connected, and the output of the electrooptical modulator is connected to the input of the optical radiation divider into N channels, the outputs of which are connected through a first N-channel fibre-optic transmission line (FOL-1) to the optical inputs of a plurality of N radio-photon locators, signal outputs of which are connected to signal inputs of multichannel signal processing unit by means of the second N-channel fibre-optic communication line. Each radio-photon locator comprises an optical radiation divider into two channels, a photodetector module, a circulator, an antenna and an electrooptic modulator.

EFFECT: higher reliability, noise immunity and efficiency, simplified design.
