FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preventing withering of pine trees caused by pests. The method includes injecting into the tree trunk a composition containing thiamethoxam, emamectin benzoate, cyclohexanone, polyoxyethylen styryl phenyl ether, water, acetone and methanol, where the amount of thiamethoxam and emamectin benzoate is selected in accordance with the size of the tree, the target pests and the extent of tree damage.
EFFECT: method increases water solubility of nicotinoid compounds, which corresponds to improved spreading of the composition within the tree with manifestation of stable striking effects; the invention also prevents harm to the public by preventing the dispersal of chemicals.
