FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment, namely to contactless synchronous generators of an inductor type, which operate mainly for a rectifying load and are used for example in generator units of automotive engineering. An inductor-type generator containing front and rear covers, a stator with an operating winding, an excitation source, a rotor with a shaft is provided with an internal magnetic circuit, an excitation source, a U-shaped magnetic circuit, an external non-magnetic insert, with that, between the covers and the stator there installed in series is an external non-magnetic insert and a U-shaped magnetic circuit with posts of different length, and a non-magnetic insert is installed between posts of shorter length and the stator on the inner side, and excitation sources and an internal magnetic circuit is installed on the outer side.
EFFECT: synchronous inductor-type generator generating EMF from low rotation speeds of the shaft to the nominal is obtained on the basis of an asynchronous machine by adding an excitation source and parts of a magnetic circuit.
